BIC

The Bioinformatics Cell (BIC) develops medical informatics-based solutions to improve the medical protection and care of our military personnel. The BIC products also have significant potential for application to similar requirements in civilian health care. The BIC has a multidisciplinary staff with backgrounds from industry, government, and academia with experiences in bioinformatics, biophysics, physiology, the medical profession, computer science, mathematics, modeling and control, and biomedical engineering. The BIC is co-located with the Biotechnology High Performance Computing Software Applications Institute, located at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
